The HYC Optimist Squad coach, Gillian Guinness, accompanied them at the event which took place from 23rd - 26th August at Lake Ledro in the Italian mountains.
They beat Spain and Finland in the Round Robin and Norway in the Sail-Off, leaving the HYC Squad 11th overall.
This is the best Irish result to date.
