Andy Sargent receives HYC Achievers 2004 Award Thursday 9th December

The sailing endeavours at home and away of a wide range of HYC sailors was recognised at the achievers 2004 celebration.
Andy Sargent topped the list, in recognition of his contribution to sailing at HYC and his racing successes on the water.

For some years now Pat & Olivia have been circumnavigating the globe in their boat
Aldebaran - a Crossbow 40, built in Capetown SA.
They are the first couple from HYC to sail their boat to Australia. They left the boat there (for the typhoon season) and returned home recently.
They will return to Australia in February to continue their voyage via Darwin Indonesia, Singapore and hopefully
arrive in Thailand before Christmas 2005.
