1st Scratch - Jellyroll - East Down YC
(L-R) Noel Davidson (Puppeteer Class), Adam Robinson (Jellyroll),
Neil Inglis (Rear Commodore HYC)

Friday 4th July - Race 1
In a light NNW wind, flat sea and a flood tide, Rob Stanley in Mojo, with Fergus O'Kelly as tactician, starting in the middle of the line opened an early lead, from where he went on to dominate the race. Racing was tight at every mark with close battles throughout the fleet.

Saturday 5th July - Morning - Race 2
After a delayed start due to oscillating winds Andy Sargent in Mayfly tore off from the pin end and led to the windward mark. Andy was closely followed by Gordon Hudson in Ibis, sporting their new Watson sails, and a tightly bunched pack.

Mojo, some distance down the fleet, started the downwind leg as the breeze filled in from their side and popped into the lead.

Saturday 5th July - Afternoon - Race 3
Once again the race was dominated by light winds - Terry Harvey in No Strings opened up an early lead, which he held to the finish. Jellyroll split tacks with Mayfly and Jellroll's side of the course proved to be the favoured route and he took 2nd and Mayfly 3rd.

A fourth race was started in a fading breeze which shifted 60 degrees and made the windward/leeward course configuration impossible, so the race was cancelled.
