The Squib Class dinner was attended by 26 people, including the Commodore and Squib Class Captains of Royal North of Ireland Y.C. (Peter Wallace) and Dublin Bay S.C. (Conor O'Leary). Bowties were the order of the night, with more homemade than purchased!
The Class Captain sported a genuine cardboard tie, featuring two Squib sails.
Good fun was had by all, with news of at least two new boats hitting the water in 2011 and two more returning to the fold!
The Irish Squib Championships 2011 will be at Howth over the August weekend, and almost 40 boats are expected.
Squibs are returning to HYC!
