There were 33 entries from seven East Coast Clubs. The four race series was reduced to three due to high winds on the Friday - 50 knots were recorded. The weather did not deter the visitors from Dublin Bay, Arklow and Malahide.

The racing on Saturday and Sunday was in ideal winds and PRO Peter McKenna ran a superb series.

The overall result was Wild Mustard 6 pts, Hydrogin 6 pts, with Relitivity on 7 pts. The tie was resolved by the most first places, and Wild Mustard, with Brian O'Neill retained the title for HYC. Sean Colbert of MYC was second and Susie Wallace from HYC was third.
