The Open Events section is the information source for ALL Open Events. This information includes Online Entry, Notice of Race, Printed Entry Form, Sailing Instructions etc. as I receive them for posting on the site. Other information such as event reports, prizewinner lists and event photos etc are added if available.

Open Events with their own Page

Some of the larger Open Events may have enough information to warrant a page/section of their own. In such cases a link to that event's Home Page will be provided in the right side column for that event on the Open Events page.

Open Events Documentation

Each event organiser is responsible for the supply of all pre and post event information, reports etc. Everything supplied to the website is published - so what you see is what I receive and posting usually takes place within a day or so of my receiving the info.

Calendar Year View

The website Sailing Calendar and this Open Events section operate in tandum and work to a calendar year.

Winter Events

The Brass Monkeys, Laser Frostbite and One Metre Winter racing programmes have separate pre and post Christmas series. We have standardised on the terms Winter Series for the pre Christmas series and Spring Series for the after Christmas series. So, the Winter Series is located in both the Sailing Calendar & Open Events list at the end of the year, the Spring series is located in both the Sailing Calendar & Open Events list for the following year.
