Under brilliant sunshine, HYC hosted the second ICRA recruitment day on Saturday, May 25th.
Utilising the ISA J80 fleet, three groups of novice sailors were put through their paces in windy conditions by a team of HYC volunteer skippers.
Saturday was the second in a series of ICRA/HYC recruitment days which is designed to provide an opportunity for those who wish to experience the thrill and spills of sailing.
Another successful day was had, with both students and instructors coming ashore exhilarated by an enjoyable sail, culminating with a race up and down the sound.
