Senior 420 World Championships in Las Palmas
The Senior 420 World Championships in Las Palmas was a hard event with Multiple Olympic medal winners and World Champions spread throughout the fleet.

Competition was so tough that even the current 2006 ISAF Youth World Champion did not make the Gold Fleet where we were represented by Kenny Rumball/Freya Macken. Conditions were very windy with huge seas.

The Irish 3 boat Girls Team produced a number of top 10 finishes with HYC boat Lynn Reilly and Lisa Tait winning race no 8. Fionn Jenkinson/Sean Collins in another HYC boat also strung together a number of top 10 finishes.

The Team was coached by Tom Mapplebeck.
