The course started on Monday and there are 27 participants. The course was heavily oversubscribed by 15 people, so as a result we are going to run another course in August. That course will be limited to 25 persons which leaves only 10 open places for the August Course. Thanks go to the owners who each year take out keen, enthusiastic newcomers to the sport. Without owners generously giving their time the course would not happen and myself and the participants in the course are very grateful. Cruiser One's night to take people out sailing on Thursday 1st June was supported by Stephen Harris, Tom Fitzpatrick, Andy Knowles & Declan Gray, taking people out on their boats in fabulous sunshine and a gentle sea breeze.
