(L-R) Russell Rafter, Howth Lifeboat Station Chairman, receives cheque
for Euro Symbol2500 from Paddy O'Donnell, President Howth & Sutton Lions.
Russell Rafter, Howth Lifeboat Station Chairman, recently received a Cheque for Euro Symbol2500 from the Howth & Sutton Lions. This was a contribution from the Funds raised at the "Taste of Howth" held in HYC some time ago.

Russell commented ....

this was a timely presentation as the RNLI have just embarked on a vigorous fundraising campaign to raise money in order to replace the Crew Lifejackets throughout the Institutation.

They are expensive items costing up to nearly Euro Symbol400 each. However, the old ones just have to go, so we have no choice.

If anyone would care to involve themselves in this Campaign by Sponsoring a Lifejacket, please contact our Fundrasing Chairperson, Rose Michael on 087 2552726.
