As most members of HYC will be aware, the cost of organising major sailing events means that entry fees are never adequate enough to cover the expenses, so sponsorship plays an increasingly important role in our sport.

With a club like HYC regularly running large events, such a requirement is even more pressing and we are delighted to announce that valuable sponsorship support has already been confirmed for this season.

Click for Anglo Irish Bank website Anglo Irish Bank, which has supported the Autumn League for the past two years, has kindly agreed to repeat its sponsorship for another year. To have that commitment at the beginning of the season is a major boost to the event organisers.
Click for Tom Walsh Motors website Tom Walsh Motors, with its superb new showrooms in Baldoyle, have accepted the invitation to sponsor our Dinghy Regatta in July with the SEAT brand. It will be recalled that the company supported the Optimist Easterns last year with its SAAB franchise.
Click for AIB Corporate Banking website AIB Corporate Banking - AIB are no strangers to sports sponsorship at various levels around the country, and the Corporate Banking Division has agreed to support the annual Lambay Race, an event that traditionally draws a large entry and so good exposure for the sponsor.
Click for H.B. Dennis Motors website H.B. Dennis Motors at Airside are to sponsor the Puppeteer National Championships in July with their CITROEN franchise. With a number of new yet experienced faces in the fleet this year, it promises to be an even more competitive event than before.

We are indebted to these companies for their support, allowing us the flexibility to provide top class racing for numerous boats and crews throughout the season without the worries of financial constraints.
