AIB staff in the AIB Sailing Club generously contributed 3,000 to the Howth Branch of the RNLI.
HYC boat owners volunteered to take the AIB staff out for a sailing evening. Over 100 staff were distributed between the boats and they headed out in light winds. Apart from a couple of light showers drifting across the area, it was a nice bright evening and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves - a number expressed an interest in doing some big boat crewing.
At the reception after sailing they mixed with the trainees attending the first evening of the Adult Sail Training Course and from the conversations it appears that we should have no crew shortages this year.
