50 HYC sailors in 11 boats left Howth at 0930 headed for Greystones. W'ly 2/3 winds provided a comfortable reach down the coast. They arrived at Greystones at around 1300, anchored off the beach and were ferried ashore by the sailing club launch.
Sarah Byrne (Hon Sec Greystones SC) welcomed them. After a BBQ lunch and drinks they hoisted the HYC Pennant on the club's flagpole.
They left at 1600, headed for Dublin Bay and the National YC. Conditions were much the same as on the run down, but with somewhat lighter winds. 4 HYC boats travelled direct from Howth to the National, making a total of 15 HYC boat's on the NYC section of the marina.

They enjoyed an excellent dinner at NYC and finished the evening with a sing-song aboard John McInerney's boat.
After a leisurely breakfast aboard the boats in the following morning, they headed back to Howth about mid-day.
