Calling all females in HYC! We would like to invite you to come sailing in the ISA J80s on Monday 3rd May from 4-8pm.
This is a great opportunity to join fellow female sailors for an enjoyable evening of sailing and to go sailing in a one design fleet. We are keen to ensure that all female members who are keen to sail in the J80s get a chance to do so.
There are eight J80s available for sailing and we hope to get as many women as possible out sailing from 4-8pm on Monday 3rd May, followed by a few drinks up in the bar afterwards.

If you are keen to join us and sail in the J80s on Monday 3rd May, please email Laura Dillon at [email protected] and Laura will do her best to ensure everyone gets to go sailing in the J80s.
Laura will match skippers and crews together and will let you know all the logistics and answer any of your queries. Each J80 will have 4 or 5 crew on board (skipper, mainsheet, jib trimmer, spinnaker trimmer and bow). Dependent on wind conditions, we will decide whether to use spinnakers on the evening.

Can you please indicate if you would like to helm or crew (if crewing please indicate if you have a preference for which position on the boat you would like)? We are very keen that as many members as possible can get a chance to sail in the J80s while they are in HYC and hope that you can join us next Monday.
Please email [email protected] if interested. As mentioned Laura will be very happy to answer all queries and we really hope that you can join us next Monday!
