| � In glorious sunshine and a light easterly breeze, six teams representing the various HYC fleets fought it out in a five race, no discard series. PRO Rupert Jeffares and his team set ideal courses for the competitors, with sharp turnarounds between races. Some penalties were taken. An on-the-water protest was held. People pushed the start line resulting in OCS scores. All this was taken in very sporting fashion with each competitor respecting the others right to be there. The only one to come off worse for wear was the umpire who required a good dollop of aftersun! Rising to the top after some interesting starting manoeuvres and a couple of penalties was the K25 representative, Cillian Dickson. |
