| Marjorie Bermingham presented the PJB Trophy to Howth Yacht Club in memory of her husband Peter, father of Colm and Aidan. Peter Bermingham spent many happy days sailing with friends in Howth and Dun Laoghaire and Marjorie is very grateful for the opportunity to encourage as many sailors as possible to get the enjoyment out of sailing that Peter always had. The trophy will be for the Non Spinnaker Class in the Club Summer Series to encourage sailors to compete in this ever growing class. The Commodore thanked Marjorie for this very generous and beautiful addition to the club trophies which will undoubtedly be actively competed for in 2010. |
