Today, Padhraic Moneley Construction handed over a 1500 sq metre 2m concrete extension of the boat park which includes a new 7 metre wide 24 hour access slip and an additional 3.5 ton crane.
This extension, designed and supervised by engineering consultants Roger Cagney and Associates, more than doubles the size of the existing boat parking area and together with the new slip and crane will provide Howth with world class facilities to host international dinghy and dry sailing keelboat events such as the Etchells World Championships, to be sailed in Howth in 2010.
