At about 0630 on Sunday 27th November a fire broke out on the motor launch To the Manor Born. It spread to the cruisers on either side of her, leaving the three boats damaged.
The boats are stored in the public area between the Lifeboat House and Howth Yacht Club. Luckily the fire brigage
brought it quickly under control, preventing it from spreading to the boats stored in the adjacent club's yard.
