This year’s annual HYC Charity lunch being held on Friday, December 13th has the theme 'challenges'. We think it is a fitting theme given this year’s nominated charity is St Francis Hospice.
In a change with tradition, we have lined up a non sailor as guest speaker who is no stranger to challenges.
Following a humorous take on 'Challenges' by Winkie Nixon, this year’s guest speaker is Ian Taylor. Ian is the youngest Irish person ever to have summated Mount Everest which he did in 2008. Ian gives his amazing story and click on this link to get a preview.
We will finish up in festive mood with guest comedian to send us off laughing after this worthwhile day.
