Sailing sponsorship is nothing new to the company, which supported the Puppeteer Nationals a few years ago with the Citroen marque.
The Puppeteer is the largest individual class in HYC and up to 25 boats are expected to compete, meaning over 100 crew and families involved with the event. A feature of the sponsorship will be a display of Volvo vehicles on the club forecourt.
"We are delighted to be again associated with such a vibrant class," said Peter Dennis, "and we look forward to our participation in the Volvo National Championships in July."
