Dave Thomas, from Dt Media, is in the planning stages of producing a radio documentary to be aired on Newstalk 106FM in 2008.
The programme will be about people that have boats, some live on them, others cruise or sail as a hobby, and the documentary explores the type of people that love boats, the water, and the friendships and community that come from owning a boat in Ireland.
It also will explore the benefits of owning a boat, the places you can go on it, and what is involved in purchasing and maintaining a boat.
