Howth Yacht Club has engaged the services of Graham Smith as its Public Relations Consultant to help promote the Club, its activities and facilities to an even wider audience.
A member of the Club since the mid-70s and Editor of the 'Tidal Chat' Newsletter for 12 years, he has acted as Press Officer for major international championships run by HYC in recent times.

With over 32 years' experience in the PR business, he has run his own consultancy in Malahide - WordSmith - since 1987 and his clients include Mercedes-Benz and Altro Floors.
In his Club PR role, he will liaise with the Flag Officers, Club Management and Committee Chairpersons to manage various activities to promote the Club and will also continue to edit 'Tidal Chat'.
Graham is also anxious to develop relationships with Class Captains and with individuals involved with such diverse activities as snooker, golf, cruising, racing, race management, development, social etc, and to work with the Webmaster John Deane in further enhancing the Club's award-winning website.
